Colouring my wall, colouring my life

One of the greatest things in life has to be good friends, and lately my friends have been very good to me!

Since moving I'd have to describe my room as funtional but formless. It always seems to be the thing I'll get to once I've done everything else. But thanks to my talented buds, it's beginning to look more like home.

Bec W is the talented lady who dreamed up the "3 piece" for above my desk. Love the colours. Simple design, but with a rich texture, bold but unassuming. Sounds like my perfect girl!

And the Ricksterpoured 7 hours into the second piece, gaining his inspiration from a cheeky young lady who's just lucky she's my g'friend at this point, or I'd smash her ;). It's about me apparently, but I can't see the link. I smiled politely but really I think he got the wrong guy.

So for anyone interested in some one-day priceless artwork, drop along to their blogs and lay your money on the table. If you mention my name they might give you a good deal.

Surprises

Sometimes things happen that are not even close to what you could ever think, or plan, or dream. Usually I'd prefer to be in control, but God has a funny way of reminding you not only that you aren't, but that it's better that he is. I could never have created this on my own.
